Module 22 started yesterday - the end of all French modules.
Ironically, I don't feel confident that I can go to France and understand and be understood. It was only yesterday that i found out that there are different French dialects, and it's not just the accents that are different, it's everything - the grammar, the structure, the vocabulary. OohLala~
For this module, we're required to read a novel and give a report on our chosen book. I wanted to read the original French version of Hunting and Gathering by Anna Gavalda (Ensemble c'est tout) but it wasn't available in the library so i chose her first two novels instead. She has an understated, simple way of narrating her stories, which I find quite refreshing.

Josh Groban's having a concert!! So is Fall Out Boy! To go or not to go, that is the question~I'll try calling ticketnet. Hehe.

So far, life's been good. Clocking in 9 hours at work on weekdays, working at home on weekends (for a few hours), going to malls (i've become a fan of topshop ^^), and eating out. Speaking of which, ate at Oki-Oki (Trinoma) last night. The dishes really live up to the name. Oki means "big" in Japanese. The rice bowls were large. Since the waitress didn't give us a heads-up, I assumed the dishes were your regular size and serving, alas! the servings were huge - good for sharing. I had the tofu/vegetable curry dish ^^ I love japanese curry~ Given the serving size, the prices are pretty reasonable. I'd go there again but when I do, i'll be sure to share =P

Saw a pair of shoes at lacoste (the new design for women) and it's way over my budget. I could buy two/three pairs at other shoe stores for the price. Oh well~ The girl on the poster near the Lacoste shoes store looked like Nini =) It was uncanny. I should take Nini there one day ^^
