Weekend recap:
Friday. Amazing council meeting.
It's pretty cool how drawings never lie. It's as if your subconscious were working on its own. It's only when the drawings are analyzed that you consciouness begins to gain an understanding of what your subconscious has been hiding :/ Very psych hehe.
Although, I got kind of confused with the interpretations @@
One thing is true though, I've always been one to stick to my comfort zone.
To sum the night up in one word: Runes. Enough said. It was just amazing. I still have goosebumps!
Saturday. Went to DAP to welcome the enrolless of Flex 108. It was a pretty big group. Highly-charged morning, but in a good way :) I love LEAP 39! :D Then, Monic and I supported X with his adventure goal, which was ice skating! I must say I'm beginning to enjoy ice skating. I no longer have to exert as much effort trying to balance. I can actually just enjoy gliding around the rink :) Highlight of the day was us falling down :O hehehe. X was in the middle with Monic and I beside him. When he lost his balance, he went down first, then me. Then Monic :) It was a funny moment :)
Met up with Buddy Fred afterwards at Shang and we had lunch at Cibo. Yummy! It's been sooo long since I last saw Fred. It was just surreal being able to catch up. Made me realize how long way back high school is and how much we've changed as individuals. Hope to see more of Buddy in the future :)
Then in the evening, had dinner with Sharmane and Nini at Shakeys Katipunan. Mojo potatoes = love :D We met up with Aileen at Gonzaga afterwards and watched Bare the Musical (staged by BlueRep) together. Although I couldn't make out the beginning of the play due to poor sounds, the play picked up near the latter bit of the first half. It's mainly about a gay couple - Peter and Jason - who struggle with their identities, and the reactions and expectations of society. It's a beautiful story of love, acceptance, and truth. The songs have a beautiful lyrical quality to them :) My favorite characters were Sister Chantelle and Peter :)
Sunday. Practiced violin for an hour. Getting the hang of using the bow again. I'm starting to recall my violin lessons of 10 years past. I love playing musical instruments. They allow me to express my creative side :) Have a LEAP workshop later at 3pm. Wonder what we'll be doing :/
Currently,
reading Love Walked In by Marisa de los Santos
listening to Use Somebody by Kings of Leon and Feel This by Bethany Joy Galeotti. Beautiful songs :)

hectic
Just came home from embrazzo :) it was a really great crowd :)
I'm super happy kelly and yeye enjoyed the seminar.
valentine's day has come and gone. i survived single awareness day :P
had dinner with kelly, yeye, and jerome at mandarin wok. it was a fun way to spend the evening :) it's been a loooong time since i talked to both kelly and yeye.
i've been busy with LEAP these past few weeks, from weekly council leader meetings to flex orientations to working on my goals to council meetings, etc. it's just been really hectic. i'm learning to strike a balance among work, family, friends, and leap. But LEAP's been amazing so far. I've become aware of so many things and I just love the positive environment.
Work's been a bit busy too, with the two-day telecon last week where i acted as interpreter >.< I've been reading up on IT terminology and other system-related documents since then.
I start my violin lessons this Tues :) Looking forward to that.

deep breaths
The past few weeks have just passed by in a blur.
I have been busy with ALC and LEAP for the past two weeks.
(ALC and LEAP are leadership seminars at OCCI. Ping me if you want to learn more about them :-) )
It's been an overwhelming deluge of emotions and realizations, and I have yet to process all this energy and sometimes I feel
I'm just grateful for the entire experience and I'm looking forward to the next two months.
=============
Last night, I had dinner with Ste, Che, Sharmane, and Ni at Burgoo Rockwell. The conversation was light and easy. We talked about Che's upcoming study trip to Shanghai, about work, Royce chocolates, and what's going in our lives now. We ended the night with a sweet (and tart) yogurt treat at FIC.
Korean classes end next week. Haven't been to class for the past few weeks so I have a lot of catching up to do.
