I ran my first 5k marathon today! :D Yey! Well, I didn't run all the way hehe.
I woke up at 3:30 today for the Century Superbods Fun Run at the Fort. D woke up earlier at 3 so that he could pick Ni and I up :O
Even at 4am, there were already so many cars and so many people at the Fort.
Met up with Lin, Kristine, Rainier, and of course Bogey, who is just adorable :)
I love how he gets all excited when he hears "pasyal." Haha :)
The run was tiring but it felt pretty great to finish it :)
Had breakfast at Conti's afterwards.
Hang around at home after the race. D slept most of the afternoon. Driving + Running can be a pretty sleep-inducing combination :| Hehe
Had dinner at Greens, the vegetarian restaurant in the Tomas Morato area. Had sisig (yummy with hot sauce), potato patties (with soy cheese), minestrone (herb-y), pumpkin soup (creamy), and tofu and mushroom barbecue (i liked the slightly burned crunchy bits). The food's pretty simple, not gourmet vegetarian. I'd go there again when I'm in the mood for simple home-cooked food :)
Dropped by Amici's for gelato before heading home.
My legs are really sore :| The next time I run another marathon, I'll prepare better for it :D

The rest of the weekend at a glance:
Friday. Watched Rent with Nini and D. My favorite songs are "One Song Glory," "Another Day," and of course, "Seasons of Love." I loved the actors who played Maureen and Angel, respectively. Strong performances :)
Had dinner at Felix. Ran into Teds at Greenbelt :)

Saturday. Met up with Leah and her friend Nash (who's half Indian, part Spanish, and part Filipino), who told the most entertaining stories about her boyfriend Max, who's German. She shared an anecdote about "the wife and kids," which was really funny. Some people have the most interesting stories to tell :)
Had dinner at Pepper Steak along Katipunan, then headed of to RMT to watch Zanna, Don't, the musical which Leah's brother is starring in. The musical's cute and funny :)

Overall, great weekend :)
